Land & Marine has agreed a new long-term publishing contract with Nairobi-based, no-frills carrier, Fly540. Land & Marine publishes each quarter the airline’s in-flight magazine “540”.
New magazine for RETOSA
RETOSA has chosen Land & Marine Publications to produce a new twice-yearly magazine entitled “Diversity”.
The exciting new magazine, to be launched at Indaba 2012, will feature in-depth and sometimes highly personal stories about travel, tourism and unique attractions from across RETOSA’s 15 Member States in Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Land & Marine Publications is set to produce a new hotel and tourism guide for La Asociación Hotelera y Turística de Colombia (Cotelco) for launch at ITB in March 2012.
Cotelco is Land & Marine’s fourth client in Colombia.

It was today confirmed that Land & Marine will publish a tourism guide for Angola’s Instituto de Fomento Turístico (Infotur) – a division of the Minstério da Hotelaria e Turismo.

This week Land & Marine staff travelled to London for WTM 2011 (www.wtm.com) - one of the premier events in the travel and tourism calendar.
The show is a great opportunity for us to meet with clients and a fantastic platform to launch our most recent project, the KAHC Kenya Hotel, Restaurant & Entertainment Guide 2012.
Other L&M titles distributed at show included; This is Botswana 2011, Destination Malawi, KWS Tourism & Conservation Manual, Destination Mozambique, Sarova Spotlight, Reflections, KATO Kenya Safari Operators Guide 2010-11, Destination Uganda, Kenya Airports Authority Handbook, Destination Uganda, the Uganda Hotel Guide, Destination Zambia and The Gambia Hotel Guide.
At the show, Land & Marine was given the go ahead for some 10 different publications – some new, plus the renewal of several existing contracts.
Kenya office move

Land & Marine Publications (Kenya) has today moved into larger offices in Nairobi with a switch from A6 to A5 Ojijo Plaza.
The new office is double the size of the old one and the move has been necessary to meet the planned expansion of Land & Marine’s East Africa operations.
Swahili Coast magazine

Land & Marine completes first edition of Swahili Coast magazine. Originally to be entitled Habari za Pwani, Swahili Coast has been produced for the Mombasa & Coast Tourism Association and will be available from around mid-July in the guest rooms of all good hotels at the Kenya coast.
