Paa Tanzania – issue 102

Issue 102 of Paa, the inflight magazine we produce for Tanzanian airline Precision Air, is now available to read online. As usual, it’s full of inspiring stories sourced from across the airline’s network of East African destinations. Inside you’ll find Tanzanian lawyer Joy Alliy, who has battled her way back to health and a new understanding of the meaning of life after suffering an ischemic stroke. There is also a close-up look David Denis, a prodigal talent from Arusha, who while still at high school devised a way to make farm pesticide from waste human hair. He has developed the project as CutOff Recycle, an award-winning start-up creating hundreds of jobs in the Arusha region. More ingenuity is to be found at ultra-luxurious Serengeti camp Sayari, which has just announced the arrival of its own solar-powered microbrewery. Lucky guests get to enjoy a choice of four unique beers on tap and the on-site brewery also produces clean drinking water for the camp and neighbouring communities.
